NYAP’s Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) team provides immediate, community-based crisis services to address:
Mental health challenges
Substance use concerns
Trauma-related distress
We offer rapid, compassionate responses to safety concerns with in-person assessments, crisis stabilization, community engagement, and follow-up care to improve the well-being of children, youth, and adults within their communities.
Who Do We Serve?
Within designated communities, MCR serves children, youth, and adults five years and older. We meet individuals and families where they are — physically, emotionally, and culturally.

The MCR program is built around these key goals to create lasting stability and healing:
Ensuring safety during mental health or behavioral crises
Stabilizing individuals and families to avoid hospitalization, arrest, or displacement
Connecting people to services and supports in their communities
Promoting recovery and resilience through education, empowerment, and access
Strengthening families and communities by reducing crisis recurrence
