Our Services

At NYAP, we believe youth do best when they can safely remain with their families and stay connected to the communities they call home. To support this, we offer a range of community-held services designed to strengthen families and promote long-term stability:

  • ·Extended Family Support  - Provides guidance and practical support to relative caregivers who are not currently involved with the child welfare system, helping youth remain safely in the home and connected to family

  • Family Advocacy – Helps individuals and families strengthen communication, build emotional regulation skills, and create safer, healthier family relationships and interactions

  • Housing Stabilization & Community Living Services (HSCL) - Assists individuals and families in securing and maintaining safe, stable housing so youth can remain in the home whenever possible while also supporting older youth aging out of foster care and helping them develop independent living skills.

  • New Beginnings - Supports first-time mothers and their infants through education, encouragement, and family-centered services designed to strengthen bonds and promote long-term stability

  • Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) – Builds parental confidence by equipping families with individualized tools and strategies to address behavioral and emotional challenges in healthy, effective ways
