A Comprehensive Child and Family Assessment is required for all children and youth entering care, as well as their primary family.
CCFA Services
Are community-based
Are determined with family background in mind
Identify characteristics of each child and youth, noting milestones met, developmental challenges, and presenting behaviors
Determine the strengths and needs of children, youth, and their families
Who We Serve
Families with children and youth who:
Are ages 0-21
Are experiencing foster care
Are at risk of entering foster care
Adoption home studies – Cost-effective and timely evaluations of prospective adoptive parents’ homes
Pre-service training – Comprehensive, trauma-forward training for prospective adoptive families that reflects best practices in adoption and meets regulatory standards, as applicable
