Group Living Care

The goal of Group Living services is to provide community based living for youth who need to stabilize and develop independent living skills to prepare themselves for emancipation.  NYAP group homes provide structured group activities, social/ recreational outings, and educational programming.  Health assessments, behavioral assessments and mental health/substance abuse assessments are conducted to identify the youth’s needs, strengths, and challenge areas. Youth served in Group Living have access to the continuum of NYAP services including behavioral health services while maintaining themselves academically and/or in the workforce.

Group Living services are available in Columbus, Ohio under contract with Franklin County Children Services.
