Join the NYAP Team

At NYAP, we put children, youth, and families first. We seek to maintain an organization where we all want to work. We listen to each other, celebrate our big moments, support each other through challenging times, and encourage growth personally and professionally.

Our Culture

It’s our people. Our values.
Our relentless pursuit of a better world.

At NYAP, our culture is the combination of our core values and the exceptional people who help bring them to life. Our employees embody our dedication to our communities, and it’s through their commitment to these values that we’re able to create an inclusive workplace that promotes caring, connection, and peace.

Our culture is guided by Ubuntu—the Zulu phrase that means I can’t be me without you. By recognizing our shared humanity, we acknowledge that every individual’s existence and well-being are inseparable from the existence and well-being of others. Like a village that lifts up its members, we surround individuals, youth, and families with care, compassion, and affirmation. Every voice matters, every story belongs, and everyone is valued within our village. Along with those we serve, we are a community committed to human rights, peace, and justice — a community of many, operating as one, advocating for all.
