The National Youth Advocate Program provides Behavioral and Mental Health services including:

Additional Services

  • Comprehensive Assessment Services

  • Individual Therapy

  • Group Therapy

  • Pharmacological Management

  • Mental Health Case Management

  • Crisis Intervention or Support

  • Psychological Testing

These services are currently being provided to youth and adults in the community, as well as those within NYAP’s Foster Care programs.

 

Clients receiving mental health services have eligibility based on medical necessity according to DSM-V criteria and typically display significant at-risk behaviors or impairment and functioning.

 

Assistance and support in crisis situations is offered by NYAP staff  24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our Centralized Service Reception Team.
